About

Born and raised in Lake Geneva Wisconsin, Danny Duffy was introduced to the art world at a very early age. His grandfather, Robert Duffy was a local sign painter and artist. As a young child Danny would stand by and watch his grandfather draw. Soon, he was filling up sketch books with his own drawings.

Danny’s interest in art continued through high school and into college. At the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee he majored in fine arts, concentrating in painting and drawing. After graduating in May of 2005, photography and computer art became his primary artistic focus.

Photography had always been an interest, but never a passion. That all changed when a friend sold him a Canon Rebel film camera. That camera was sadly stolen a year later, but quickly replaced by a Canon S1IS digital camera. Working in digital opened up room for trial and error as well as experimentation with exposure and saturations. Digital also allowed for a vast number of pictures to be taken in one day. The more pictures taken, the greater chance of capturing a quality photo.

Computer art started mainly with experimental landscapes in Adobe Illustrator and expanded into logos and poster art as well. Danny found computer art to be very different and new. It allows for an inexpensive way to learn color and the computer programs. The finished product always has great line quality and a simplicity that he desires in his work.

Duffy Artwork is the newest extension of Danny’s art, bringing everything together in one place. From painting to photography and everything in between, this web site offers a wide array of artistic diversity and talent.
